Sourcing Products on Something Different Connect

Sourcing products is all about choosing the products you'd like to list on your sales channel. You may choose to list hundreds of items or just a small handful. Another decision you might consider is whether to list some products on one sales channel and different products on another, depending on the sales performance of products of that type and the competition.

Sourcing products adds each item to your My Products list so that you can view all the product information in one list and see an overview of which sales channel you've listed it to.

To source a product manually:

1. Go to Search Products

2. Browse the products and select 'Source Product' either from the search page or by clicking on the product and selecting the 'Source' button 

3. The product will now be added to your My Products list, but it won't yet be listed on your sales channels until you choose to list it.

To bulk source products:

1. Go to Settings> Imports

2. Select 'Add Configuration'

3. Select 'Bulk Source Products' from the Import Type dropdown menu

4. Click 'Download CSV template'

5. Fill in the template with the SKUs you would like to source and then upload the completed file.
